How do we stop murders from happening in the first place?
Stopping murders starts with understanding how they happen. What events lead up to a murder? What points of friction might make a potential killer reconsider?
We can play a role in stopping murders, and we will never know what we prevented. We can only reflect on our failures. In this project I intend to analyze a few.

Over the next year or so I’m working on a new zine, collecting art, articles, essays, and poems about murders. Nobody will solve all of the problems created by jealousy, envy or any other social blight. But with study and investigation, we can better understand our roles in stopping violence from happening.
This digital zine will publish online for free and independent archival. This project is about helping real people to thrive in freedom, not in prison. It is a private reflection, performed in public.
